Leeds regrouped and slowly started to get back into the game with Joe Barber (Lawnswood) especially prominent in midfield. Good work by Joe Barber (Lawnswood) now moved up front, resulted in Andy Thomas (City of Leeds) forcing a good save from the Blackburn keeper. Leeds persistence paid off quickly however when from the resulting corner Paddy Miller (Cardinal Heenan) hit the bar with a rising shot. The ball rebounded, hit the legs of a Blackburn defender and went in for the equalising goal. Although somewhat fortuitous it was no more than Leeds deserved for their spirited start to the second half. The game then became more open as both teams sought the winning goal. Josh Lowcock (Lawnswood) in the Leeds goal making 2 good saves including 1 just before the final whistle. At the other end Stefan Connor (Lawnswood) and Darol Lucas forced further good saves from the Blackburn keeper.
